1) Bzzt! Wrong answer. We had no such thing, nothing impressive anyway. She certainly never earned a sticky. She's not big on our radar; I believe you're thinking of the Hoffs. See previous references in this blog (Zen's c&p of their conversations about kitty). The Hoffs are the ones who jump all over her practically every time she posts.

2) How in the world did you "officially seal the deal?" You got deactivated for not posting... period. Don't think you're so "special." NO ONE has "sealed the deal." Ranting is open to ALL who wish to join and can follow the rules, which are surprisingly simple.

a) Post the required intro upon activation and be truthful.
b) What happens on ranting, stays on ranting.
c) No lurking.

Lord, Donna, you're making yourself look really stupid here. First of all, I assume you're talking about IPs and not ISPs? Sure, we can see IPs of anyone that posts on our board. Any board can do that, including the hoff administrators. They're on proboards and admins can do that on proboards. It's not evil. It's just a way to get a general idea of where someone is from. You don't get their exact address and you may not even get their exact city. Just the general city that their internet provider is from, which may not be the city they actually live in, but is probably near by. It's not an evil thing, just something that any board admin can do. If the hoff admins say they can't, they either don't know how to or they're lying. And if they can, so what? What can anyone really do with that info? We can also get IPs if someone emails you. Anyone can do that. You can.

And the only one who did any photobucket hijacking was Zen to J/K.

We're not the people that Zen made us out to be to the hoffs. Just as I suspect you all aren't as evil as she made you out to be to us. The ranters are no worse than any of you. We're normal parents and BBC/board posters. Realize this: we all have been had.

A Hoffie with an autistic child misunderstood Stef's statement and took offense to it.
I said I wasn't coming back to this thread and yet here I am - feeling like I have to defend myself. That statement is totally untrue. Steff made some really mean comments about all children with autism and specifically mine. She gave lame apologies later but never took back what she said - she made some sort of an apology like - I'm sorry if you are offended but I am not going to take back what I said - sorry that is not an apology. I was not the only one offended by this.
I am not a bad person. I do not dislike Steff. I only hope and pray she never has to deal with what I deal with on a daily basis.
We did not form the other board to talk about people here - just to be able to chat and get to know each other better.
We had a lapse in judgement when it came to Steff because we were all seeing red and we were being egged on by someone with a different motive then the rest of us. We never posted a link to Steff - that keeps getting brought up - we only followed a link provided in her own profile and links from there.
None of us are bad people. I'm not saying I'm a saint, but I really am not the horrible person that you make me out to be and I'm sure Steff is not a horrible person either.
Please - can we just let this go?

And, yes, there are BIG fallacies on the blog. Remember, folks, its moderated so the blog owner can pick and choose what she wants to be public. It bothers me that Charlie's name has been raked through the mud. A LOT of the things said there about her are flat out NOT true, but there's no way to refute it there.
I find it pretty silly that they aren't realizing that their own 'members' are ratting them out....which was what caused the whole mess anyway.....posters going from one board to another tipping people off. I'm not sure why they would think they have exclusive rights to espionage....LOL!

I agree with Purple - there is much worse been said on here than this and it's obvious she HATES us! I have to vote for no troll here. I've been over the member list several times in detail and if there IS a troll it almost has to be a regular poster. I think if someone wanted to really screw us, they could. But that hasn't happened. It's all just shots in the dark that are vague. We post en masse on certain threads, we have matching blinkies, and we tend to pummel certain posters over and over. We're WAY obvious if someone is looking. While I do understand and sympathize with the points made, I think we can all agree that the rules are here for a reason. I - for one - do not get enjoyment out of staying up late to babysit people on an internet BB who should know better. (Meaning the planned ambush and yes, I knew about it in advance.) I truly enjoy being here - in general - and volunteered myself (to attempt) to be an ambassador of goodwill here. Most days I wouldn't change anything here but when it comes to the point where several groups plan to ambush each other on the board, it's gone too far.

That being said... the mods had a LOT of info in order to make their decisions. While I'd love to see it 100% definitive in who gets banned, who doesn't - it'll never happen. They are human and have to make judgement calls.

Honestly - I don't blame them for banning first and asking questions later. There was a lot of crap that went down here and way more people were involved than were banned. The mods did not consider any plotting, etc. that happened off the boards - only what happened here and that was an ugly mess.

I don't believe there are favorites. Either you've been a PITA to the mods or not. Let's face it. There were HUNDREDS of posts to wade through on the latest fiasco and if I were them I would have been tempted to just ban everyone instead of wade through it all. It was a complete mess. Trying to figure out who's on who's side and who is part of the plan was a nightmare for me and I'm used to posting here. Can you imagine the cluster the mods had to try to figure out?
I miss a lot of the posters who I assume have been temporarily banned. Maybe some may never return but I think we can all agree that something had to be done. I'm sorry to see that some innocent people were caught it the crossfire. That is exactly what we hope to avoid. I guess one or both groups were successful in their attempts to get others banned from the boards....maybe it wasn't the right people, but I guess you can see that when something like this happens, the end result isn't always shiny and bright.

I hate seeing the ugliness that comes out on this board. The other boards apparently breed hatred for certain members and it creeps into the posts here. It's a shame that the same ugliness so many don't want to teach their kids comes here to rear it's ugly head. We all have a dark side. I just don't want to meet all of them (the dark sides)!

I hope we can all move on now.

Post subject: Update on my psychosis and dh

My CT Scan was fine so they said. Looked weird to me, but then, it is my brain. The symptoms have gotten better also. I stopped the Phen and Zoloft (could have been Seratonin Syndrome from the combination), and started eating better and all of that good stuff, so it also could have been a vitamin deficiency. Anyway, it got better once I did those two things and I'm back to being as normal as ever. I was tripping over dh though. I lmao going back and reading those posts I made. Guess it was more of the hallucinations The events were real, but my perception of them, and the way I wrote them, were way off. I was wondering how I had put up with that shit for so long! Honestly he is and has always been a pita, and I do put up with shit from him no one else would, but nothing like what I wrote! Just typical asshole guy stuff, and even then he's better than most husbands (if I may brag a little, lol). So thanks for putting up with my crazy ass

Zen has been a member of Ranting since Feb. of 2006. Recently she joined the Hoff board and started copying and pasting their posts to share with Ranting members. It turns out she was doing the same to the Ranters and c&p-ing their posts from Ranting onto the Hoff board. In addition she shared pictures of the Ranters, taken, of course, from a thread titled "Post Your Worst Picture."

The Hoffs then took it upon themselves to post the pictures and the c&p they had received from the Ranting board on BBC.

Needless to say, Zen is no longer a member of the ranting board, and if the Hoffs have an ounce of "smart," they've also booted her.

Zen is not mentally stable, and to be fair, we should have known to boot her a long time ago. She's done things like call the authorities when Anna stalked her, she in turn stalked J/K (see post below), on the Hoff board she called planegirl's husband then bragged about it on ranting. We put up with her hypochondriac, hysterical recent pregnancy. Yeah, we should have known. We should have known.

Unless someone else figured it out too this morning- could be likely, I suppose, as a lot of people hate jk and there are a lot of BBC hate boards- but most likely we have a rat. It really is kind of odd she didn't say anything about me having her email PWs and such, there was just as sensitive info on there that I could easily access just by requesting passwords- her PayPal, bank acct, etc.

Okay, here's the only things I could think if. 1. As mentioned in chat last night, I have very nasty toenails. According to COH rules, I should never be allowed to leave the house in anything less than boots, but I wear sandals in the summer. I clip and file and medicate and paint...DH tells me you really can't tell. 2. DH and I didn't get married until DS was 7. We were seperated for 4 years and both of us dated other people. This is all stuff I have mentioned before so I don't think anyone is shocked to hear it: When I was a child I wanted to be a nun when I grew up - I couldn't wait until the 8th grade so I could enter the convent. That dream was cut short when I started being sexually abused at age 9 and I thought God wouldn't want damaged goods. I was not allowed to date at all in highschool - so I lied and found ways to do it behind my parent's back. I married at 18 to get away from home and the abuse. H#1 was a diagnosed schizophrenic who sometimes took his meds and sometimes didn't. H#1 and I lived on a self sufficient farmstead. We raised goats which I milked twice a day and we bartered and sold the milk and cheese that I made. We used a wood cook stove and had a composting toilet. It was rustic. After 5 years of marriage and just a couple of months before I graduated from college I got tired of the rustic life and wanted a sex life (h was impotent because of the drugs he was on) so I asked him for a divorce (which he granted a little too quickly). I whored around town (very small town) and got quite a reputation and then ran away to AZ where I met h #2. H #2 was Southern AZ's largest drug dealer - his family is part of the Mexican Mafia and people who owe them money end up dead in the desert - their bodies covered with lime so they can't be traced. H#2 went to prison about 9 years into our 10 year marriage. I had an affair with a Puerto Rican named Vito and we ran away and lived on the beach in Mexico. After he made me do something that I have told very few people, I broke that off - got engaged to a real idiot - broke that off and took a 1 year vow of celibacy. I was so happy when she had that baby cause then about every day or every other day it was a baby post She has been not so nice to me too. I know she was one of the people that said I should have just given it up when my dh talked to me like that

B/c it sucks!! Other than the Planegirth shit there's nothing interesting. JustKidsandMeNow has gone psycho over her dh leaving (truly fucked up over it), SweatyCheese's ex-dh is supposedly the guitarist for the Cherry Poopin Daddies- remember their one hit wonder, and BMJJB (voctoria/labuse cunt girl) has no cleavge, or self-respect. They did infiltrate a spin-of board from PGs bb, but nothing interesting there either.

Oh, and PBS is one step away from being banned, so feel free to push that one.
